When was the last time you checked out your local club?

club diningClub dining certainly isn’t what is used to be, especially in the Padstow to Picnic Point area! What was once thought of as a cheap dining option for families is now more of a fine dining experience minus the 5-star price tag.

There are even competitions to find out who has the best club food in town, with Revesby Worker’s Club recently named as the home to the best club food in NSW after chefs Hung Le and Daniella Digby took out the ClubsNSW Chef’s Table award for the second year in a row.

Another local club worth checking out is the Bankstown Sport Club, which is one of Sydney’s biggest clubs with 65,000 members. Bankstown Sports is often voted one of the best clubs for food and its ClubGRANTS scheme, which provides financial assistance to a wide range of groups, is another reason worth visiting.

Of course there are many other fantastic local clubs and RSLs too and we’re very fortunate in the Padstow to Picnic Point area that we’re so spoilt for choice!

Clubs are not-for-profit, meaning that profits go back into the core purpose of that club or reinvested into the business. This means that when you visit a local club you’re putting money back into the community.

With the summer party season coming up, it’s well worth checking out your local clubs because not only is there some great food on offer, but it’s affordable and you can often bring the kids along too!

The team at Chambers Fleming Professionals Real Estate, Padstow would love to find out what club is everyone’s favourite. Let us know by leaving a comment over at our Facebook page I Love Padstow to Picnic Point.
