Get Active from Padstow to Picnic Point!
We live in such a beautiful part of Sydney, which makes for such an inspiring backdrop to lead active and healthy lives. There is a great range of both indoor and outdoor sporting and fitness activities available in our area.
Bankstown Council launched in 2004 an initiative called the Active Bankstown Club, which features activities for all ages and fitness levels. There is a wide range of activities available each month, found here.
The Club also promotes a range of activities for residents aged over 65 including craft, bus trips, gentle exercise, morning tea, social get togethers, indoor carpet bowls, tai chi, singing and dancing, bingo, board games and cards. Click here for more information.
We also have a range of great gyms and personal training services within the area, some of which include:
Fitness Local, Panania and Padstow
Mecca Personal Training, Panania
Bankstown City Council, in partnership with the Heart Foundation, has also established some fantastic walking groups that meet regularly in Bass Hill, Georges Hall, Revesby, Greenacre and Bankstown. Click here for more details.
We have an abundance of great bush walks in our area including one of our favourites, along the Georges River from Lambeth Reserve to Picnic Point and also along Alma Road to Padstow along Salt Pan Creek.
The team at Chambers Fleming Professionals Real Estate, Padstow would love to find out your favourite outdoor activities or walks within our gorgeous area. Let us know by leaving a comment over at our Facebook page I Love Padstow to Picnic Point.
