State of Origin Fundraising Night
Last year residents and visitors from Padstow to Picnic Point helped raise over $2,500 for the Leukaemia Foundation at the Mill Hotel in Milperra. This year organisers are tying in the annual fundraiser with the State of Origin on June 26th, and are planning to entice 200 people through the doors to help raise $3,000 for Camp Quality.
To raise this ambitious total David Grinsell, the founder of Project 3K, is hoping for donations from local businesses of cash and prizes, as well as a lot of community support on the day. In anticipation of a larger crowd than last year, the 2013 event has been moved to the Padstow Park Hotel.
Those who come along to Project 3K will be rewarded with a giant screen to watch the State of Origin game, giveaways, games, and a sensational party atmosphere! There will be a raffle with Origin 3 tickets, a signed NSW Origin jersey, a signed Bulldogs jersey, movie tickets, plus so much more up for grabs.
